The 2012 Honda Civic comes in six different styles: the Sedan, Coupe, Si Sedan, Si Coupe, HF, and Hybrid. The Sedan, Coupe, Si Sedan, Si Coupe, and HF come standard with an In-Line 4-Cylinder 16-Valve DOHC i-VTEC® engine. The 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid has an In-Line 4-Cylinder 8-Valve SOHC i-VTEC®. The Sedan and Coupe come standard with a 5-Speed Manual Transmission, and available Compact 5-Speed Automatic Transmission. The Civic Si Sedan and Si Coupe come standard with a Close-Ratio 6-Speed Manual Transmission. The Honda Civic HF comes standard with a Compact 5-Speed Automatic Transmission, and the Civic Hybrid has a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The Sedan and Coupe have an EPA mileage estimation of 28 mpg city and 36-39 mpg hwy. The Si Sedan and Si Coupe have an EPA mileage estimation of 22 mpg city and 31 mpg hwy. The Civic HF has an EPA mileage estimation of 29 mpg city and 41 mpg hwy. The Civic Hybrid has an EPA mileage estimation of 44 mpg city and 44 mpg hwy.
